Family: HB at Big Sur, CA
I have known HB forever and actually first photographed her when she was pregnant with her daughter. Wow! I still can’t get over how big her sweet girl is getting - she is almost a teenager and I officially feel old. I was so excited when HB reached out to me about a visit to Monterey and taking some updated family portraits.
I love starting off all the Big Sur photo sessions in this location that shows the hills in the background and the beautiful blue water. We took our time walking along the coast line to take a variety of photos.

During this session there were some beautiful flowers blooming so we had to capture some photos in these wild flowers!
It is super important to get photos of everyone and photos of dad and kids and mom and kids. I always make sure to get a mix of photos so you can select your favorites during our photo reveal!
This spot is so gorgeous because it shows the beautiful water and the flowers in bloom along the coast line!
I LOVE capturing LOVE and it sure does radiate from these three. It was such a fun weekend exploring Monterey together and capturing some family photos at sunset in Big Sur.
It is a bit of a scramble down to this beach, but totally worth it! I am so glad these three were up for the adventure so we could capture these beautiful sunset photos. There weren’t many clouds in the sky for our sunset session but we were still able to capture some of those pretty oranges Nor Cal presents during sunset.
