for those who LOVE the details:
Artist: Draupadi Santiago
Draupadi is a watercolor artist and designer. Thankfully it wasn’t too hard to convince her to let me capture her beautiful soul, art and home with my camera!
Artist: Margalit Palermo
Margalit is an abstract and contemporary artist who has been creating art for the past 18 years. Get to know more about the person that inspired me to start this whole blog series, Artist Spotlight!
Artist: Christy Kill
Christy and I had so much fun spending half a day together collaborating to create various portraits. She’s such a talented artist and we hope this interview inspires all artists to keep creating!
Family: HB at Big Sur, CA
A wonderful evening along the Big Sur coast to capture some family portraits!
Family: Colunga at Clairemont
With a small creek, trees, paths, fields and fall foliage this location checks all the boxes for a family session that offers so many different photos!
Military: Welcome Home LCDR
I am all about these front yard sessions for homecomings! Covid-19 has really limited our military homecomings and this is way more romantic than greeting your loved one in a parking lot!
Cherry Blossoms: Eimilly & William
THESE TWO! What a wonderful way to wrap up my cherry blossom minis. They were my last subjects for the day and I had way too much fun with them.
Cherry Blossoms: Taylor & Brian
The weather was a bit cloudy for my morning cherry blossom sessions, but that didn’t stop anyone from smiling bright.
Cherry Blossoms: Haines Family
My first cherry blossom session was so perfect. It was cloudy and a bit chilly, but this family came prepared with jackets to wear in between each photo location.
Maternity: Julia at Smathers Beach
Meet Julia and Anton! This whole session I kept saying to myself "Is this real life???" For real, I was drooling (in my mind) on how beautiful, real, sexy and loving this couple was towards each other.
Mommy & Me: Lisa and baby J
Such a fun early morning Mommy + Me mini session with Lisa and baby J.
Family: Casler at Ft. Zachary
I absolutely LOVE family sessions (because I am a huge family person) and photographing a family of seven was definitely a fun time!
Lindsay & Greg in Japan
Lindsay was one of the first friends I met in Japan and has been a life saver on more than one occasion throughout my year and a half living here.
Fall Minis: Hoff Family
This family of four is now a family of five. They rocked their fall mini session and we even made sure to get some photos of just mom and dad.
Fall Minis: Meissner Family
I love that this mother appreciates art (she is an artist herself) and wanted to make sure she got family photos this year.
