After many extensions and almost a year at sea, the USS Nimitz finally returned home from deployment!

Congrats to this Navy Chief!! We all celebrated with some family portraits at my favorite beach in San Diego!

This lifestyle session was extra special… It didn’t include their dad since he is deployed so we took photos as a surprise to share with him for a little piece of home while he is gone.

I am all about these front yard sessions for homecomings! Covid-19 has really limited our military homecomings and this is way more romantic than greeting your loved one in a parking lot!

I really loved getting to know these two and their sweet little girls. We got a mix of photos including some of just mom and dad alone.

I first met Juliana when she came to my house for a photography class when I first moved to Key West. I was so excited that she asked me to take family photos for her this year!

My friend Marta purchased a motorcycle and wanted to get some sunrise photos with her new ride.

I loved getting to know this family during our mini session at Sigsbee, NAS KW. This mom recently retired from USAF and their oldest son is on his way to basic in December.

This was my seventh time photographing this adorable family (how cool is that!?!?). It was so bitter sweet to have this last session with them before I move out of Key West.

I briefly got to know this family while living in Key West and they are the sweetest! It was so fun to capture their family portraits at sunset on Smathers Beach.

My friend HB and her family came to visit us in Key West. We had to make sure we fit in a photo session too while they were here.

Oh my gosh this sweet family had my heart melting. Their energy was the best, their outfits were on point and I just love that mom let the girls hold their favorite stuffed animals for some of the photos.

We made sure to get photos of the whole family and photos of each kid, and just mom and dad. I love that they were all willing to get their feet wet for a few tickling and giggling photos at the end of our session
