Military: Welcome Home Nick

Ohhhh that moment when a spouse finally gets to embrace their loved one after months of deployment always brings happy tears to my eyes. I am forever thankful for all the sacrifices our military families make for our freedoms. It is such an honor to photograph these big moments! As a military spouse myself, I know how hard it is to go days even weeks without talking to your loved one. Your conversations are only through email or FB messenger and only when the ship pulls into port you may get lucky enough to get a phone call or FaceTime, if they can find good wifi that is. The anticipation for this helicopter landing was insane and to finally see Lauren and Nick embrace made me the happiest person ever. I am so excited for both of them to be reunited again! I am also excited to get to know these two more in their last couple of months in San Diego before heading to their next duty station. Welcome home, Nick! ⠀
