Military: Welcome Home, Logan!

This was by far one of the most intimate military homecomings I have photographed so far. There were literally three families waiting in this parking lot for their loved ones to return. Alyssa and I chatted about deployment life while we waited for the bus to arrive. A small group of people makes it such a calm experience and super easy to find your dad/husband/son!

Logan left for an eight month deployment before his baby girl was born. So today was the first day he got to meet her! He was also reunited with his son and wife. It was such a precious homecoming!! Kids were kids of course and a bit unsure of someone they hadn’t seen in such a long time, but they slowly started to warm up to dad. Yay! Welcome Home, Logan!! Your family sure did miss you!!
