Family: Cammer at Old Town Cemetery San Diego

When Misty approached me about taking her family photos at the Historical San Diego Old Town Cemetery I told her I was all about it!!! Most of my sessions are colorful and bright so I was up for the challenge of truly working with Misty to help her vision come ALIVE!

We got up super early for this sunrise session in order to beat the Cinco De Mayo crowds and to get the gloomy, moody look of the early morning. Misty’s vision involved no smiling and it was fantastic to see each family member give 110%. She also brought some skull and skeleton props which truly completed the photos. Both her kiddos were totally into posing for the session and they picked out their favorite spots in the cemetery to take their individual portraits.

After taking portraits in the cemetery we wandered into old town to get a few more photos in front of an old building. We also made sure to include a crystal ball in some of the portraits. I had such a lovely time getting creative with this family! I LOVE that Misty trusted me to take these unique family photos of them.

Now, I am dying to know which one is your favorite photo? Comment below!
