Abby & Benjamin at Monterey, CA

Congrats to the newly engaged couple, Abby and Benjamin! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect evening to take some couple portraits in beautiful Monterey! This Sand Dune location is located right off the 101 and is such a fun place for photos because you can get such a variety of otherworldly photos with the ocean and sun in the background.

We had to make sure to get a few photos of the ring! Also, both of these two lovebirds live are from Colorado so this mountain tattoo was quite the perfect addition to capture their love story.

As a lover of desert plants my heart was very excited to find these plants growing out of the sand dunes along the Monterey coast. It is such a fun way to add some texture and depth to the photo.

That late day sun created such a beautiful glow behind Benjamin and Abby and their love and connection was definitely on FIRE! After taking some photos on the sand dunes we walked down to the beach to capture a few more photos with the setting sun. This is my ultimate favorite time for photos because the sky always gives a sweet candy look and it’s so gorgeous in California!

Benjamin and Abby’s adventurous souls took of their shoes and got their feet wet for a few of the last photos!
